A history of proven leadership and results.

As Mayor of the Town of Medley, Roberto Martell has remained committed to serving his community. He began his public service in 2008, after being elected to the seat of Councilperson. In 2012, he was elected as Mayor of the Town of Medley, and in 2016 was re-elected for a second term. He is a long-time resident, and has been living in Medley with his wife and four children since 2006.

Before politics, Mayor Martell grew his private company, Martell Construction, founded in 1987. Working on every job site, acting as both Contractor and laborer, he designed structures in major cities throughout South Florida, including government contracts won by display of expertise and, above all, integrity. Prior to starting his own business, Roberto Martell led construction on the city’s Metro Rail, and drafted city plans for commercial and private property.

From his earlier years till now, Martell's successes are based on achieving measurable, on-schedule results, using his available resources as efficiently as possible. Today, his position holds steadfast, as he continues to fight in the interest of Medley’s residents, staff and businesses.

He proudly serves on the following committee’s: Miami-Dade

Transportation Planning Organization, TPO’s Executive Policy Committee and the TPO’s Fiscal Priorities Committee.
